Abstract
Bu makalede, genel sıfatlar bağlamında Allah’ın ilim sıfatından bahsedilmektedir. Öncelikte kelâmi ekollerin sıfatlar meselesine genel yaklaşımlarına vurgu yapılarak konunun altyapısı hazırlanmıştır. Daha sonra ilahi bilginin varlığı konusunda Kuran’dan örneklerle bazı tespitlere yer verilmiştir. İlahi bilginin zat ile ilişkisi bağlamında, itikâdî fırkaların görüşlerine değinilmiştir. Ehl-i Sünnet’in “Sıfatlar zatın, ne aynıdır, ne de gayrıdır” şeklindeki yaklaşımının bir paradoks olup olmadığı tartışılmıştır. İlahi bilginin neleri kapsadığı ve cüz’iyyatı bilip bilmediği ile ilgili konular üzerinde durularak kelamcılar ile filozoflar arasındaki tartışmalara değinilmiştir. Kısa bir değerlendirme ile makale tamamlanmaktadır.

Abstract
In this paper, God’s attribute of all-knowing is dealt with in the context of general attributes. In the first instance, the grounding of the subject is provided with reference to the general approaches of the Kalam schools to the issue of attributes. Afterwards, a few determinations are presented regarding the existence of divine knowledge together with examples from the Quran. In the context of the relation of divine knowledge with the essence, the positions of the faith-related factions are evaluated. Whether the Islamic orthodox understanding (The Ahle Sunnat’s conviction) that “the divine attributes are neither the same of nor different from God’s essence” is paradoxical is discussed and clarified. The disputes between Islamic theologians and philosophers are evaluated together with an explanation about what divine knowledge might involve and whether God might know or not the partial as He knows the whole. The paper is completed with a short assessment on the point.
