الملخص للتفسير الصوفي أثر بليغ في المعاني وفي العبارات وفي الإقناع،ولديه طرق وأساليب روحانية ومعاني منهجية علمية قد تحتوى على العقيدة، وقد تدعوا إلى التوحيد، ومنهج الصوفية واسع لا يمكن ان يقف عند التفسير الإشاري ولا عند التفسير الوصفي او القصصي، ولذلك فالصوفية المعتدلة المقترنة بالعلم الصحيح، تعد منهجاً في العبادات وفي اداء الفرائض، وتساعد على التربية الروحية وعلى بث روح المحبة والعيش بروحانية والبعد عن ملذات الدنيا وهموما، فهي فكر وعلم وعبادة ومناجاة ومحبة لله تعالى وحب للرسول ولآله الطيبين الطاهري، وخاصة أن التفسير الإشاري، له جذوره التأريخية منذ نشوء الصوفية في العصور السابقة، وقد ترجم التصوف القرآن عبر التفسير الإشاري في ذاك العصر إلى منهج وعلم من علوم التفسير، وصار منهجاً عند المفسرين يأخذ به ويفسر ويسند إليه في التدوين والتفسير للآيات القرآنية، وخصوصاً ما ظهر في بداية شيوع التصوف في الأقطار الإسلامية، ولم يكن هنالك أي ظهور لمذهب مشاع ومتبع في ذالك العصر، ولم يكن هنالك ظهور لبعض الفرق المتشددة أو الجماعات التكفيرية التي تكفر كل من يخالف منهجها أو جاء بمنهج وسطي أو فكر عقلاني أو ما شابه ذلك. فعصر التصوف هو عصر الخلوة الربانية والتعبد لله تعالى بإخلاص، وقد ظهر في زمن على ما يبدوا بأنه كان خالٍ من الفرق. وقد وجدنا أن العلم والتعبد والتفسير للآيات القرآنية، ظهر في الفكر الديني الصوفي عبر التوجه العلمي المقرونة بالفكر الصوفي التعبدي، فيعد منهج جديد ومبتكر في مجال التفسير وسمى بالتفسير الإشاري، لأنه سلك طريقاً آخر عن مناهج المفسرين السابقين عموماً، لأنه أدى إلى تنوع في فهم الآيات والمصطلحات القرآنية من باب التصوف الإسلامي "الديني"، وخصوصاً لأنه كان محصور بالفكر الديني فقط، ولذلك فهذا التفسير أو العلم يضاف إلى تنوع علوم القرآن الكريم، من مجالات عدة.
