Abstract
Tabakât adlı eseri sahâbe bilgisi açısından incelenmiştir. Onun sahâbe bilgisini verirken nasıl bir yöntem kullandığı, hangi bilgileri aktardığı şeklindeki bazı sorulara verilebilecek cevaplarla İmam Müslim’in bu alana katkısı araştırılmıştır.

Abstract
Müslim The İmam is known with his work with the name of al-Jami’u’s-sahih that he wrote about the suitable hadiths. Moreover, his work with the name of et-Tabakat is an important source in the field of dignitaries. The aforementioned book is an important work which has come about the information on the companions up to today. In this study, Müslim’s work in the name of et-Tabakat was reviewed in terms of the information on the companions. Müslim’s, who is the imam, contribution to this field was searched with the answers for the questions about which the methods he was used to give the information on the companions, what the information he gave.
