Abstract
İmam Matüridi, Türk Din Anlayışının gelişip şekillenmesinde birinci derece etken olan bir şahsiyet olarak görülebilir. Nitekim onun geliştirdiği, Kitap, sünnet ve örf ve adetlere dayalı sistemi te'vil yoluyla genişletmek metodu, Türk Din anlayışının özünü oluşturmaktadır.

Importance of Matüridi's Thought System Imam Matüridi is one of the most important schollar in Islamic word, because of that he improved Turkish religious understandig. His system is based od Tehe Book (Koran), Prophet's traditions and custom and usage and it improved by way of interperatation (te'vil). It was constitude of Turkish religious understanding.
