Abstract
Bu araştırma, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin öğretim yöntem, teknik ve stratejileri kullanabilme yeterlikleri konusunda öğretmen görüşlerinin neler oldu-ğunu tespit etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Malatya il merkezinde 2009-2010 eğitim - öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Resmî ve Özel İlköğretim Okulla-rın da görev yapan 139 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, evrenin tamamı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve güvenirliğinin kontrol edildiği anket formu uygulanarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 17.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Bu program aracılığı ile veriler yüzde (%), fre-kans(f), aritmetik ortalama ( ), standart sapma, t-testi ve ANOVA kullanılarak çö-zümlenmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesi sonucunda öğretmenlerin cinsi-yete, yaşa, öğrenim durumuna, meslek kıdemine ve okul türüne bağlı olarak gö-rüşlerinde anlamlı fark olduğu gözlenmiştir.

Competencıes Of Socıal Scıences Teachers In Usıng Teachıng Methods, Technıques And Strategıes This research intends to identify teachers' opinions with regard to compe-tency of Social Sciences teachers in using teaching methods, techniques and strate-gies. The universe of the research encapsulates 139 Social Sciences teachers from Official and Private Schools in spring term of 2009-2019 in Malatya city center. The exemplification of the research is composed of the whole universe. The data of the research was accumulated by the application of reliably created questionnaires. In the analysis of the date SPSS 17.0 was used. By means of this program, the date are analyzed in terms of percentage (%), frequency (f), arithmetic mean ( ), standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, a meaningful difference in teachers' opinions was found out depending on their sexuality, ages, level of education, professional se-niority, and the schools they work in.
